Wanderlust Sunday: Let's Get Together and Feel All Right

One of my favorite things about travel is the opportunity to meet new people and observe other cultures. Even a trip two states away can reveal significant lifestyle differences. But wherever I am lucky enough to visit, within my own country or abroad, I come home with the same lesson: Cultures everywhere are different, people are pretty much the same...

Different menu, same need to eat...
Different language, same need to connect...
Different architecture, same need for protection..

The list goes on.

As you've probably seen, this weekend marks the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, the famous festival billed as "3 Days of Peace and Music." But the idea of spreading peace through music didn't end in 1969. There's an organization called Playing For Change that's kind of a current-day Woodstock on a global scale. I LOVE this idea, and am so touched by this video.

So for this week's wanderlust, let's take a trip around the world through music. Let's get together, and feel all right.
